Choose evidence that fits the actual management role
The US Bureau of Labor Statistics describes clinical managers as managers of specific departments and lists responsibilities such as staffing, scheduling, budgets and service objectives. A nursing manager role may also draw on professional nursing leadership expectations. AONL’s public overview provides that nursing context; it is not a selection rubric for every clinical manager job.
Choose three examples with different decisions. A staffing conversation, a process review and a coaching discussion show more range than three versions of the same team conflict. Use minimal, non-identifying context and avoid sharing patient or confidential personnel information.
