Free interview warmup: the replacement for Google's retired tool
Google retired Interview Warmup in April 2026. This free warmup keeps what made it useful: pick one of the same six fields and answer five questions out loud or by typing, with no account. You get a hiring manager's read on every answer.
Warm up for your next interview
Pick a field, then answer each question the way you would say it in the room. Skip any question you want. If you cannot use a microphone, type your answer instead.

How this compares to Google Interview Warmup
Google's tool made speaking answers out loud less intimidating. That part is kept. What changes is the feedback: instead of highlighted words, you see what your answer proves, what is missing, and your own answer rewritten.

What you get after each answer
The feedback is written the way a hiring manager hears an answer, not to make you feel good. Most first attempts have a clear gap, and that is the point of a warmup.
What the question is really testing
Every question probes a competency, like ownership or judgment under pressure. The read names it, so you know what your answer has to prove.
The biggest thing holding the answer back
One or two sentences on the gap a hiring manager would notice first: a missing result, a story told as "we", or an answer to a different question.
Two or three fixes
Concrete changes to make on the next attempt, not a generic checklist.
Your answer, rewritten
Your own facts in a clearer spoken structure. It never adds an employer, number or outcome you did not mention, and it lists the details worth adding.
This is AI practice feedback on how your answer is built. It is not a hiring decision, an employer's score or a prediction of whether you will get the job.
Every warmup question, with a full answer guide
Want to study an answer before you say it? Each question links to a guide with what the interviewer is looking for and example answers.

Questions about the free interview warmup
Is Google Interview Warmup still available?
No. Google's Interview Warmup is no longer available, and its former page now redirects to a general interview-tips article that suggests Gemini Live for conversational practice. Independent reporting places the retirement in April 2026.
Is this interview warmup really free?
Yes. You can pick a field and answer all five questions without an account. There is a fair-use hourly limit so the free tool stays available for everyone. A free Revarta account adds 2 mock interviews and 2 practice questions, plus a prep plan built from your job description.
Can I type my answers instead of speaking?
Yes. Speaking is the closest practice to a real interview, but if you cannot use a microphone you can type your answer and get the same feedback.
How is the feedback different from Google's?
Interview Warmup highlighted patterns in your answer, such as job-related terms and repeated words, and deliberately did not judge it. This warmup gives a direct read: what your answer proves, the biggest gap, specific fixes, and your answer rewritten using only the facts you gave.
Which fields can I practice?
The same six Google offered: General, Data Analytics, E-Commerce, IT Support, Project Management and UX Design. Each field has five questions, and every question links to a full answer guide.
Is this affiliated with Google?
No. Revarta is an independent interview coach. Interview Warmup was a Google product; this page is a free alternative for people who used it and want to keep practicing.
